I didn’t grow up vegan, and I definitely didn’t grow up thinking I’d run a dessert blog. Honestly, this all started because I kept craving treats at weird hours — and the oven felt like way too much effort. I’d stand there with a spoon, a half-empty pantry, and think, okay… what can I whip up without eggs, butter, or baking anything?

Turns out? A lot.

That’s how Whattowhipup was born. Not from some perfect life or polished kitchen — just me, scribbling ideas near the toaster, testing one-bowl chocolate things with my cat watching suspiciously. I burned stuff. I flopped things. I once made a no-bake brownie so hard it could’ve cracked a plate. But slowly, I figured out how to make plant-based desserts that were fast, cozy, and genuinely craveable.

This site is for people like me — folks who want sweet comfort without complicated steps or animal products. Who want to open the fridge and actually use what’s there. Who maybe don’t own a stand mixer (hi), but still get excited about peanut butter bars or chia parfaits that come together in ten minutes.
