These freezer-friendly no-bake peanut butter oat bars come together in minutes with no oven required. Perfect for meal prep, they’re chewy, satisfying, and endlessly customizable for your favorite add-ins. Store them in the freezer for easy snacks or breakfasts that are always ready to grab.

Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup creamy natural peanut butter

1/3 cup maple syrup (or honey)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)

Parchment paper for lining

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.

2. Warm the peanut butter slightly if needed to make mixing easier.

3. In a large bowl, stir together peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth and fully combined.

4. Add the rolled oats and any mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts. Stir until the mixture is fully coated.

5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it in firmly and evenly.

6. Freeze for at least 1 hour until firm, then lift out, cut into squares, and store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

For a nut-free version, use sunflower seed butter or tahini.

Add cocoa powder to make chocolate bars.

Layer with jam before freezing for a PB&J twist.

Bars keep well in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving for a chewier bite.
